| While at a dog show in Stockholm, Sweden, I had the privilege of meeting Bjorn Magnusson, exhibitor and breeder of a lovely female at the show. It was not until later, I realized Bjorn was the owner of Kronblommas, a kennel name I had seen in several pedigrees of some impressive dogs I admire! In 2008, on return to Sweden to pick up Lovahagens Emo, I was fortunate to visit Bjorn and his beautiful farm in the Swedish countryside. One of his females, Cherubino, had been bred to Emo's sire, Diamond Dante. The quality of Cherubino and my appreciation of Diamond Dante stirred my attention and I mentioned to Bjorn that I would be interested in a female. Traveling once again to Stockholm in July to attend the World Dog Show, I visited Bjorn and came home with Kronblommas Gutrune, aka Trudy! Then five months old, Gutrune had beautiful structure, movement and temperament. At 14 months Trudy has maintained a fabulous front, clean movement and a solid topline. Her dark eye, good tail carriage, nice bone and good coat make her an outstanding addition to our showing and breeding program. To tell the truth, there is very little I don’t like about Trudy! Watch for her in the showring as she begins her journey to her American Championship. |
