Woodland, Washington is home to the Champion Bernese Mountain Dogs of Jennycreek. Building our foundation on proven European lines, Jennycreek is proud of the genetic diversity we have to offer in our dogs.
Our introduction to Bernese Mountain Dogs began in a parking lot at a dog show. Greeting us as though we had been friends forever, a strikingly beautiful adult Bernese and an adorable puppy quickly made their way into our hearts! We were hooked! In 1995, our first Bernese,"Zoe" furthered our love affair with the breed. Zoe opened the door to a whole new world of breeding showing and loving these incredible dogs. In search of a male, the next several years were spent researching pedigrees. Finally, in 2002, we flew to Germany to bring home our new boy, Nero Von Der Holderstockhohe. We were so excited when this precious little bundle became our first American Champion! Little did we know, the thrill ride was just beginning, as our "Nero" went on to be awarded an American All Breed Best in Show and Awards of Merit at our National and several regional specialties!
Over the years, we have been blessed to work with several mentors of the breed from all over the world. At Jennycreek, we strive to produce Bernese Mountain Dogs that are not only beautiful to look at, but embody all the characteristics that make our breed so unique. Sound & willing temperaments, strong health clearances, and longevity are paramount. Always in our hearts, our dogs are family members, first and foremost.
