Dear Prospective Puppy Owner,
Once you own a Bernese Mountain Dog you will discover what a wonderful dog they are. It is important to understand though that they need a lot of human companionship and socialization. They must be a member of your family and be allowed inside the house - they are not a kennel dog. Bernese Mountain Dogs are affectionate and faithful to their family and excellent with children and other animals. They are intelligent, but must have consistent training (positive). Remember they are darling puppies that grow into 80-100 pound adults. What is cute as a puppy, may not be the behavior you desire in a dog. They enjoy daily walks and will alert you to a stranger, but are not guard dogs. Our commitment is in placing all our puppies with families who love them and provide a safe and happy life. Please let us know if you have any questions.
IMPORTANT BREEDING INFORMATION

Our program is dedicated to the health, temperament and longevity of the breed. We believe that in order to have a positive impact on the future of the breed our responsibility is to help educate others on the critical issues that are affecting our breed. In order to do this, we strive to build on going relationships with all who breed to our dogs and all puppy buyers are encouraged to get involved in obedience, conformation, drafting, tracking, agility, and therapy work. Anyone with a dog can find something that will interest them and their family and help to promote the breed responsibly.
All our puppies are raised as part of our family and are handled and socialized from birth with exposure to all types of environments to help ensure stable emotional and physical development.
Our dogs are our pets first and show dogs second. We feel strongly that a dog must be allowed to be a dog, loved by all who meet them and not just a pretty face in a show ring.
On occasion, Jenny Creek may have or know of quality pet/show puppies available, please feel free to complete our questionnaire should you be looking for information.
